Jasperware (Large, not quite Round) Button by Stella Rzanski, 3 Children, 1983

Classic Blue & White Vintage Jasperware Button by legendary Stella Rzanski, made in 1983.  The button bears her initials and date on the back. It will make a great addition to your button collection. It is from the Jane Scott Estate Collection.

The large, not quite round button measures 1 ¾ inch in x 1 ¼ inch. Classic Blue & white color combination depicts 3 children. To me it looks like they are walking or skipping on a bridge, holding on the garment of the child in front of them.

All buttons may show some minor signs of age and wear, as it is 31years old. Overall, it is in nice condition.

Scanning & photographing buttons have distinct limitations in the areas of perspective, color, details, and dimensions. The picture of the back of this button looks lighter in color that the front when in actuality, it is the same classic blue.  Many buttons do not reveal their true character and appearance in the photos or scans.

Stella Rzanski & Shirley Shaw were sisters that began their button making career in 1972. Over the years they made many different types of buttons including Scrimshaw, Satsuma, China-painted Realistics, and Jasperware buttons.
