Pair Jasperware Round Buttons by Stella Rzanski, Hunter with Bow, 1988 & 1989

Pair of Classic Blue & White Vintage Jasperware Buttons by legendary Stella Rzanski. The interesting thing here is the buttons were made in separate years. 1 in 1988 and 1 in 1989. The buttons bear her initials and dates on the back. The button dated 1988 has more distinct facial features than the other button, but both buttons are the same color of classic Jasperware Blue with white highlighting the scene.  It will make a great addition to your button collection. It is from the Jane Scott Estate Collection.

The oversized round buttons measure 1 ¼ inch in diameter. Classic Blue & white color combination depicts a hunter hunting, holding a bow in one hand and looking through the ferns with the other. These buttons have quite a bit of detail on them.

All buttons may show some minor signs of age and wear, as they are over 30 years old. Overall, in nice condition.

Scanning & photographing buttons have distinct limitations in the areas of perspective, color, details, and dimensions. The picture of the back of this button looks lighter in color that the front when it is the same classic blue.  Many buttons do not reveal their true character and appearance in the photos or scans.
